Ski Team: J2 Update

The Eaglebrook Ski Team has a group of five J2 USSA skiers competing this season, including; Lucien Malle, Henry Conlon, Christopher Bower, Patrick Finnegan, and Connor Wilson. The group has traveled to two USSA Slalom races thus far in the year at Bousquet and Blanford. The first Slalom race at Bousquet served as a training day for the boys to begin to feel comfortable on their skis and begin to mentally prepare for "race mode". The second Slalom race this past weekend was at Blanford, which was a more mellow and moderate hill that allowed our J2s to gain more confidence. All of the boys have made improvements, and are gaining more tactical experience while being exposed to more ski mountains and competing ski clubs. The next race for the J2s will be a Slalom at Berkshire East on Sunday the 22nd.
