Eaglebrook School has a faculty of 74 men and women, many of whom have young, school-aged children of their own. Classes average between eight to twelve students, and teachers help each boy establish sound study habits and set standards for quality work.
Eaglebrook's faculty have chosen to focus on junior boarding school education for boys. Our teachers have the skills to make learning fun and engaging for middle school boys while supporting them with the structure and guidance they need. They recognize where boys are in their social, emotional, and intellectual development and appreciate them for who they are.

    Ms. Emily Luker
Teacher; Dorm Head; Associate Director of Admissions
    Biography

Emily arrived at Eaglebrook in 2014 and now serves as Associate Director of Admissions. Being able to speak to prospective families about the growth each student develops through the warm guidance of faculty, a carefully crafted schedule that speaks to both work and play, and the community-building that happens in the dorm, are things she can attest to firsthand. Digging into the student’s personality in the admissions interview and finding a student who is curious and loves to learn is such a rewarding part of her day.

Having studied piano performance in her degree work, Emily stays busy in the Music Department. She especially loves working with beginning pianists and seeing the quick progress they make. Emily serves as a Dorm Head and takes great pride in planning events to strengthen the community for both the boarding and day students of the dorm. There is always a weekly Saturday evening party on the horizon! In the summers, Emily works with Eaglebrook's Global Leadership Program teaching and coordinating programming abroad.

Closer to home, she is a board member on the Deerfield Cultural Council, a huge fan of the Eaglebrook pancakes, and loves studying and practicing her elementary Japanese language skills with the students. Emily continues to enjoy exploring all the charm of New England, always finding the next best place for a coconut latte or almond croissant.
