Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
Eaglebrook Welcomes the Year of the Snake with Its 7th Annual Lunar New Year Celebration
Eagle News Team
On February 6, students, faculty, and families gathered in Gibbs Dining Hall to celebrate Lunar New Year and the arrival of the year of the snake.
The dinner, which featured a festive lion dance (minus firecrackers) performed by the Imperial Lion Dance Team of Worcester, MA, featured four courses inspired by Chinese, Korean, and Japanese cuisine and closed with faculty handing out red envelopes to the students and wishing them health and prosperity in the coming year.
At morning assembly, several students spoke about what Lunar New Year means to them and to their national cultures.
