Robotics Club Revs up for FIRST Robotics Competition with Help from Hotchkiss Peers

On December 8, Mr. Huang and the Robotics Club traveled to Lakeville, Connecticut, for a collaborative workshop with the talented members of the Hotchkiss robotics team.

To get ready for the Hotchkiss trip, club members gathered on Friday evening at their workspace in Baines. Their goal was to diagnose the software issues and mechanical problems that they must solve to prepare their robots to complete complex autonomous tasks at upcoming events.

On Sunday morning after brunch, the team loaded this year's robot prototypes into a school van and then worked side-by-side with high school mentors to identify ways to optimize the prototypes' performance. Many thanks to the Hotchkiss team for their generous time and expert advice!

Eaglebrook's robotics team will use the next two weeks to make important software and hardware adjustments as they prepare to compete in FIRST Robotics competitions in 2025. Good luck, everyone!
