Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
As we close out the Fall 2024 athletics season at Eaglebrook, we reflect on the dedication and sportsmanship displayed across various sports. From the intense competition in Pickleball, JV and Varsity Water Polo, and Golf, to the challenging terrains of Mountain Biking and Cross Country, our athletes pushed themselves to new heights. Our JV and Varsity Football teams demonstrated exceptional teamwork, while the various Soccer teams—ranging from Varsity to Thirds—showcased their skill, determination, and camaraderie. Eaglebrook’s athletes, including our boarders and day students, embraced the spirit of competition, growth, and brotherhood. With the guidance of dedicated coaches and support from the faculty and staff, every student had the opportunity to develop physically, mentally, and personally. As an all-boys school that values the importance of sports in building character and teamwork, we are incredibly proud of our athletes’ accomplishments this fall.
We wrapped up the season with our traditional Fall Banquet, where Athletics Director Mr. Williams shared inspiring remarks about integrity, resilience, and overcoming adversity. His words were a fitting tribute to our athletes' hard work and perseverance. As we look forward to future seasons, we celebrate the growth of our Eaglebrook community, both on and off the field. Here’s to another successful season and to the continued strength, camaraderie, and character-building that define Eaglebrook athletics! To enjoy images from the evening, go to our Flickr channel.
