Swimming v. Northfield Mount Hermon, Bement, & Deerfield Academy JV

Varsity swimming traveled down Pine Nook Road to meet NMH, Bement School, and the Deerfield Junior Varsity swimming team in a quad meet at the beautiful Deerfield Academy pool. There was a big crowd in the stands for the meet, which helped create an exciting atmosphere. From the first 200 Medley Relay to the final 400 Freestyle Relay the Eaglebrook mermen dominated the event. Every member of the team made a positive contribution to both individual events and relays. Zo Williams’16, Ian O’Connor ‘17, Jack Sun ’18, Milo Walshe ’16, Kevin Chang ’19, Jason Lee ‘18 and Marquis Wong ’17 had a good day in their events. Matt Kenvin ‘17 and Tim Barry ’18 contributed wins in individual events and relays. On Saturday, the team travels to Exeter, New Hampshire for another “duel in the pool” with the Big Red of Phillips Exeter Academy in preparation for the Nick Whyte Invitational Meet at Eaglebrook in two weeks.
