Robotics Ends Season on a High Note, Looks Ahead to September
ANDOVER, Mass. – February 10, 2024 – The Robotics Team ended its 2023-2024 season on a high note, placing in the top third of teams competing in the Massachusetts Regional FTC Challenge at Andover Public High School.
Team captain Seb W. ’24 led a squad that had prepared themselves for their season finale with numerous practice sessions over the last two weeks. The Eagles finished with an impressive 4-1 record in the first round of competition, a performance that won them 8th place among 27 competing teams. Even though Eaglebrook did not advance to the semi-final round, Mr. Huang and the students were thrilled with the measurable progress they made together over the winter.
With the competitive portion of its season behind them, the Robotics team will look to spend the spring trimester preparing its younger members to take the lead next year, using weekly training sessions led by Sixth Formers. We’re looking forward to having a strong core group ready to compete again in September.
