In a resounding success for Eaglebrook School's athletic programs, the synthetic turf field has proven to be a game-changer, propelling various teams to a fantastic season. Located at the Lewis Track and Field, this state-of-the-art facility has become a great resource for sports competitions at Eaglebrook.
Since its completion in early September, the turf field has been abuzz with activity, hosting rigorous Varsity and Junior Varsity football practices and games. Chase E. ’25, a player for the Varsity football team, attests to the playing conditions on the field saying how much he appreciates the consistency of the field even during inclement weather. Eaglebrook’s Athletic Director Luke Williams shares a similar view on the field, adding “It’s been really exciting to have that new facility. We have been able to play more games this fall than we ever have before because the field drains so well in bad weather.”
The benefits of the field have extended beyond just the Eaglebrook football teams, as it has already been utilized for the New England Junior School Soccer Tournament and will be used for the spring 2024 lacrosse season.
