Eaglebrook School was founded in 1922 by Howard Gibbs as a private boarding and day school for boys in middle school. Learn about our school in Deerfield, Massachusetts then and now, and read about the Core Skills we think every boy should know.
At Eaglebrook, we recognize that all students learn in different ways, vary in their innate abilities, and come from a variety of educational backgrounds. Classes at Eaglebrook are organized to meet the needs of each boy.
Eaglebrook is a close community of middle school students, teachers, and their families. Activities outside of the academic classroom are important to the intellectual, social, physical, and emotional development of boys in middle school. At Eaglebrook, boys learn more than they ever thought possible, discover inner resources, develop self-confidence, and have fun along the way. Delivering on our mission is only possible through the incredible generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, and friends.”
The Eaglebrook boys had a close meet away against Exeter. Strong individual races came out from some of the top echelon. Andrew Brooks, Kevin Li, and Matt Kenvin swam impressive races in the 200 free, 100 free, and 500 free respectively. Each one came out with a win. Kenvin's race was probably the most inspiring of the meet, going stroke for stroke with Exeter's swimmer for the entire race Kenvin pulled ahead with a final push in the last 50. Kenvin now holds the top 500 time for the season, be sure to watch this one carefully through the years. Both the A and B 400 freestyle relays swam hard, the A cruised in for an easy win while the B duked it out against Exeter's A, our boys in blue managed to snatch second place in that event as well. Divers continue to shine and both performed well for top spots. Even with the amazing races the meet was close and Exeter managed to take a few key victories in the 200 Medley and 200 Free relays, giving them just enough points to take the meet. Final score 94 - 90 for Exeter.
